Tower Lobby
The Outpatient Tower is located directly across from the Main Hospital Entrance. The Tower has 5 floors of parking in the Madison Street Garage, which is connected to the Tower.
Mosaic
One of the largest art installations designed and installed by Art With a Heart to date, this mosaic was created by the hands of hospital team members, medical staff, partner school students and community leaders through a series of workshops. THRIVE Program
The THRIVE Program specializes in preventing, treating and managing a range of infectious diseases in a welcoming and confidential setting.
Appointment Check-In Kiosks
Throughout the Tower, patients are able to check-in for their appointments at kiosks in each practice. This protects the patient’s privacy and also allows for a faster check-in process.
Team Approach
Infectious Disease Specialists, Nurses, Social Workers, Mental Health Professionals, Dietitians and others collaborate to help patients live their best lives.
Personalized Care
The THRIVE Program coordinates individual care plans and follow-up care for patients including antibiotic infusions and skin testing for penicillin allergies as needed.
Friedenwald Eye Institute
The Friedenwald Eye Institute provides quality eye care in examination rooms that are fully equipped with the latest in diagnostic technologies, and outpatient treatment areas for laser surgery.
Center for Diabetes and Endocrinology and Kidney Disease
The Center for Diabetes and Endocrinology helps patients manage and prevent risks associated with diabetes and endocrine disorders. Located on the same floor, our kidney specialists coordinate with diabetes and heart specialists to treat and decrease the progression of kidney disease.
Heart Lung and Digestive Disorders
Nationally recognized cardiologists and pulmonologists collaborate to provide a complete range of care to diagnose and treat heart and lung disease including echocardiograms and pulmonary function testing.
Lung Health
The Center for Pulmonary Health offers lung function testing in addition to pulmonary rehabilitation, smoking cessation, and lung cancer screenings.
University of Maryland Pathology Associates
The University of Maryland Pathology Associates lab located on the 10th floor makes it convenient for patients to have blood drawn and other lab work done without having to leave the building.
Midtown Health Center
Midtown Health Center primary care providers located on the 10th floor of the Outpatient Tower partner with you to help manage your health.
Patient Exam Room
Our newly expanded primary care space offers 15 dedicated patient exam rooms with beautiful views of our community.
Consultation Room
In our consultation rooms, providers meet with patients and their families to discuss care plans to optimize health.
Community Education Center
Located on the lower level of the Outpatient Tower, the Community Conference Center and Community Health Education Center is where free health, wellness and lifestyle programs, as well as health testing and screenings are offered.
