Our ER features 24 treatment rooms and is staffed by board-certified emergency room physicians and nurses certified in Advanced Cardiac Life Support, Pediatric Advanced Life Support, and advanced training in trauma-- 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Patient Waiting Area
The ER features a spacious lobby and waiting room area for patients and loved ones. There is a family-friendly section for pediatric patients and families equipped with interactive games.Patient Registration
Upon arrival, patients will be greeted by our patient registration team who can quickly gather necessary patient information to allow our medical team to begin diagnosis and treatment of medical emergencies.

Ambulance and Air Care Entrance
Orlando Health South Lake Hospital ER and Medical Pavilion - Blue Cedar features an ambulance entrance for quick transport of patients by local emergency medical services ambulances. It also features a helipad to allow our Orlando Health Air Care Team quick access to transport patients to the facility or to transfer to a higher level of care if needed. Orlando Health’s Air Care Team is able to transfer patients to all surrounding hospitals including Orlando Health’s Level I Trauma Center at Orlando Regional Medical Center, Central Florida’s only Level I Trauma Center.Resuscitation Room
The resuscitation room contains specialized equipment to allow ER physicians and staff to immediately deal with life-threatening illness and injuries.Infant Warmer
The resuscitation room is fully equipped to treat patients of all ages, including infants and pediatric patients.
X-Ray Room
One of several diagnostic imaging services on site, state-of-the-art equipment x-ray equipment allows for quick diagnosis for both emergency patients and for outpatient appointments.

Medical Laboratory
Offering full-service diagnostics, our experienced staff is fully licensed with American Society for Clinical Pathology (ASCP) certification to ensure the best outpatient lab services. Outpatient services include routine clinical chemistry, routine urinalysis, hematology and cogulation, microbiology/serology rapid testing and immunhematology.
