Memorial Health’s Dwaine and Cynthia Willett Children's Hospital of Savannah is a specialized children’s hospital serving southeast Georgia and southern South Carolina. Since 1992, we have helped thousands of children from more than 100 counties. We are located on Memorial Health’s campus next to the Heart & Vascular Institute. We are here to provide the care and attention you and your child deserve, a responsibility our team takes seriously. Main Entrance
Memorial Health’s Dwaine and Cynthia Willett Children's Hospital of Savannah is a specialized children’s hospital with an unwavering focus on patient care. We are the only Children's Hospital in Southeast Georgia. We offer excellence in comprehensive pediatric services for all types of pediatric patients, including newborns, kids and teens.
Main Lobby
Vibrant colors will greet you as you enter our main lobby. A team member will help guide you at the reception desk.
Tree of Colors
Our Children’s Hospital of Savannah is designed with kids in mind to include vibrant colors, fun characters and representation of our beautiful city, Savannah, Georgia. Our Tree of Colors represents each unit in our Children’s Hospital. The colors from the tree blend into the floor to guide you to each area of the hospital.
Café
Our café is open to families who need to grab some refreshments, a sandwich or snack while in the hospital.
Surgery Waiting Area and Elevators
This is our waiting area for families while your child is having surgery in our hospital. The elevators take you to our pediatric units, playroom, teen room and family resources on the second floor.
ER Entrance
Memorial Health’s Dwaine & Cynthia Willett Children's Hospital of Savannah offers advanced, child-friendly care in our emergency room (ER). We know every second counts if your child has a medical emergency, which is why our physicians, nurses and team have gone through specialized pediatric training. We always have an expert team standing by 24/7 to care for your little one.
ER Waiting Room
Our Children’s ER is equipped with expert staff and resources to ensure our pediatric ER provides a safe and family-centered emergency experience. Our Children’s Emergency Room is themed after River Street and boasts bright colors.
ER Exam Room
Our Children’s ER features 18 private rooms with televisions and cheerful colors to help our little patients stay calm. Our goal is to provide immediate bedding, which means you and your child will be taken directly to a private room as soon as one is available.
ER Resuscitation Room
Our pediatric emergency physicians and pediatric nurses use medical equipment specially designed for children. We also have a dedicated child life team, providing support for families and communicating information in a way children can comprehend.
ER Nurses Station
Our staff and physicians are specially trained to provide you and your family with high-quality pediatric care, following the guidelines for care set by the American Academy of Pediatrics, American College of Emergency Physicians and Emergency Nurses Association.
Entrance
Diagnostic tests and procedures can sometimes cause nervousness and stress in children. To help your child feel as comfortable as possible, Memorial Health’s Dwaine & Cynthia Willett Children’s Hospital of Savannah created and staffed our pediatric imaging, sedation & infusion suite with their needs in mind. Our outpatient diagnostic imaging suite offers a full range of procedures to pediatric patients.

Imaging Sedation and Infusion Exam Room
In addition to advanced imaging services, our Children's Hospital provides family-centered, compassionate care. For most exams, we encourage parents to stay in the exam room with their child to help relieve any anxiety they may have.
Imaging Nurses Station
Some children must undergo imaging procedures that require them to remain perfectly still. To help with this, we offer pediatric sedation services Monday through Friday for radiology procedures, hematology and oncology procedures, muscular injections and other invasive procedures.
MRI
The pediatric imaging suite is equipped with the most advanced magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) with video capability for children to watch and listen to movies or music.
CT
The pediatric imaging suite is equipped with the most advanced computerized tomography scan (CT). We also use radiation protection to make sure the imaging process is as safe as possible for your child.
X-Ray
Our X-ray machine is digital, meaning there is less radiation used than with traditional X-ray or computed radiography (CR), all done in a dedicated pediatric environment by staff that have gone through special training.
Operating Room
Our Children’s Hospital has four pediatric operating rooms with specialized surgical equipment designed just for kids. No matter what type of surgery your child needs, our pediatric surgical specialists understand the unique health needs of children. Our pediatric surgeons are experts in a wide range of pediatric specialties and are skilled in minimally invasive procedures, including laparoscopic surgery.
Pre and Post Op
All of our same-day surgery and inpatient postoperative recovery rooms offer privacy to ensure restful healing. Our child life specialists help children understand what to expect prior to surgery.
Surgical Nurses Station
We provide a child-friendly atmosphere with bright surroundings. Our child life specialists are available to help children and families prepare for and cope with the surgical process.
Induction Room
Sometimes kids have to be put to sleep to have a procedure or operation. Our Children’s Hospital has induction rooms where parents can be present while their child is put to sleep, reducing anxiety for the entire family.
Inpatient Surgical Unit
Our Inpatient Surgical Unit is themed after Forsyth Park and is the purple color in our tree of colors. This unit helps support children who need to stay in the hospital after surgery.

This is the nurses station where your care team will be monitoring your child and is available if you have any questions.
Inpatient Surgery Patient Room
Rooms in this unit features bright colors, space for a parent to sleep and private bathroom.
Dry Erase Wall in Room
Each room in our pediatric units boasts a dry-erase wall for patients to draw and have fun while recovering from surgery.
Elevator from 2nd Floor – Entry Way
From the elevator, you will see three wayfinding colors that take you to our Pediatric Unit (orange), Pediatric Specialty Unit (yellow) and Pediatric ICU (blue).
Our Pediatric Unit is themed after our marshes and is the orange color in our tree of colors. This unit helps support children with general medical conditions like diabetes, stomach bug, respiratory illness, dehydration and infection requiring IV antibiotics.
Chapel
We have a chapel on the second floor that offers a quiet space for families to be able to reflect.
Pediatric Patient Room
Rooms in this unit features bright colors, space for a parent to sleep and private bathroom.
Dedicated Family Space
Each room has a dedicated family sleeping space with a murphy bed or pull out couch.

This is the nurses station where your care team will be monitoring your child and is available if you have any questions.
Pediatric Specialty Entry
Our Pediatric Specialty Unit is themed after the city of Savannah and is the yellow color in our tree of colors. This unit helps support children with cancer and bleeding disorders and is HEPA filtered allowing for the cleanest air for our cancer patients.

Rooms in this unit features bright colors, space for a parent to sleep and private bathroom.
TVs equipped with DirectTV in Room
Each room has TVs equipped with DirectTV.

PICU Entry
Our Pediatric ICU is themed after Tybee Island and is the blue color in our tree of colors. This unit supports children who need critical care services.
Family Resources
Our family resources feature a nourishment area for parents to be able to step away and grab a refreshment. We also have a laundry room to support parents who are here longer than expected or did not plan to be here.
PICU Patient Room
Rooms in this unit features bright colors, space for a parent to sleep and private bathroom.

Characters
We have specially designed characters who can be found playing and having fun throughout our Children’s Hospital.
Playroom
Our playroom is a bright area to promote play for our patients. In addition, our child life specialists are able to provide medical play for our patients.
Teen Room
We provide a great space for our teens to be teens from playing video games to board games.
