The New York Academy of Sciences - Virtual Tour
Consider holding your next event here at the New York Academy of Sciences Conference Center. We have a variety of facilities to accommodate several types of events, and are proud to offer fantastic catering and breathtaking views from the 40th floor of 7 World Trade Center. We are conveniently located near the Oculus station, which provides access to most NYC subways and NJ PATH trains.
Lobby - Reception
Our Lobby serves as a reception area, plus a pre- function area, accommodating up to 225 guests. Your guests can enjoy sweeping views from river to river, while networking or admiring the unique art installations illustrating the Academy’s history dating back to 1817.
Catering Services - Menus
Restaurant Associates works to create fresh, seasonal and inspiring menus for every occasion. They have numerous menus available for our space and can work with you to develop custom menus tailored specifically to your needs and the themes of your event. In addition, Restaurant Associates is also working with the Academy to develop a selection of menus that feature local, organic foods to help in our mission to develop green meeting standards. Board Room - Telepresence
Our modern 935 sq. foot Board Room can accommodate your more intimate meetings. This room offers open skyline views, though blackout and solar shades are available to darken the room for presentations. Built-in audio visual operated by the NYAS AV team, plus convenient access to The Lobby for catering, will make for a seamless event.

Our modern 935 sq. foot Board Room can accommodate your more intimate meetings. The Conference Room
Our flexible interior Conference Room serves as an ideal speaker green or staff lounge, but can accommodate as many as 80 guests seated theatre-style. Sound paneled walls also create an intimate environment for audio and visual recordings. The room’s unusual oval shape makes it especially ideal for small exhibitions and its location near the lobby allow for a free flow of traffic in and out.
SE Conference Room
The Southeast Conference Room is available to clients for more intimate meetings of up to 12 guests. The room features a state-of-the art telepresence and and sweeping water views.
Auditorium - Theatre
Host your larger meetings in our Auditorium, with the capacity to seat up to 300 guests theater-style. The NYAS Audio Visual will manage your production needs, utilizing 3 drop-down screens, mounted projectors and built-in sound system. Floor-to-ceiling windows boast 270 ̊ views, from river to river.
