A Level-III NICU

Most births are fairly routine from a medical standpoint. But when an emergency occurs, it's good to know that Mercy has a facility and staff dedicated to the care of critically ill newborns. Our Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) is designed to meet the special needs of these infants and is staffed around the clock with board-certified neonatologists and neonatal nurse practitioners for comprehensive and excellent care.

Mercy is one of only a few Oklahoma hospitals with a Level-III NICU. And while most parents don’t expect to need it, having a NICU just down the hallway provides peace of mind. In the event of an emergency, when every second counts, your child can receive immediate treatment rather than spending time being transferred.

Complementing this advanced medical care is a comprehensive education and support program for families of these newborns.

As a full-service hospital with an advanced NICU, Mercy has the expertise and the facilities to care for you and your baby in any emergency.

NICU B

NICU B

Mercy's on-site NICU provides peace of mind for expectant parents. In the event your baby requires specialized care, our team of neonatologists and neonatal nurse practitioners is here, on-site, ready to help.
